Midwest Photo Safari # 5 - The Mall of America "mini"  + Hiawatha Light Rail Photo Safari

Join us at the world famous Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota for a 90 minute "mini" safari. Following a short break, we take a ride on the Hiawatha Light Rail and head downtown. This safari concludes at the Nicollet Ave LRT station, A 6 hour rail pass gives you a couple of hours to wander downtown and photograph, then return to the Mall of America.

This photo safari begins with our Mall of America "Mini" Safari". We then take a short break, and head for the MOA LRT station and board the train. On the 90 minute Hiawatha light rail ride, we will stop at selected stations and take in the photo ops. While we ride and photograph the rails, your guides will share fascinating history of Light Rail Systems in the twin cities, as well as what is in store for the future of light rail in the Minneapolis/St Paul metropolitan area and beyond.

This  Safari begins at 8:00 AM Sharp and runs till about NOON. A 6 hour rail pass allows you to ride back to the mall at your leisure, or linger downtown for an hour or so and take in the photo ops. Your guides will either return to the Mall, or continue with the full day safari in the skyway system.

Pricing for this Safari is $85.00 + tax per person with discounts for multiple bookings. You will need to purchase a 6 hour rail pass at the Mall of America Station for around $4.00. The tour includes our printed "Basic Digital Photography Tips and Techniques" booklet filled with handy hints and tips, including a special low light photography pointer insert. This booklet covers everything we practice on the safari and more, and is designed to help you improve the way you visualize your photography and look at things around you.

This Safari runs November 1 through April 30.
