Join us near downtown Minneapolis on St. Anthony Main to photograph the sites of the St. Anthony Falls Heritage Trail. This tour will take us along selected parts of this historically significant trail. This is a 4+ hour safari running 5 days a week, Tues through Sat. Morning sessions 8:30 AM to 1PM and afternoon 2 till 6 PM. |

Old Saint Anthony -
A neighborhood
and business community just north of downtown.
Stone Arch Bridge, 3rd Ave. Bridge - Historic bridges that occupy the Heritage trail area.
Pillsbury "A" Mill
Built In 1881, the Pillsbury Milling Co. built this mill,
for many years, the largest grain mill in the world. This mill was water powered
by a canal dug under Main St. Today the mill still stands and is
listed on the National Historic Register and it is also a
National Engineering Landmark.
Mill Ruins Park
On the west side of the Stone Arch Bridge lies the Mill Ruins
Park, part of the extensive revitalization of Minneapolis'
historic West Side Milling District. This 19th-century area of
mills, canals, tailraces and other historic resources made up
the largest water powered facility in the world. Many Photo ops
await our tour at and near this site.
We also visit the Mill City Museum and the public lobbies of the new Guthrie Theater when available.
Our Lady of Lourdes - The oldest continuously operating place of worship in Minneapolis.
Nicollet Island - Historic area
The Hennepin Avenue Bridge - There we visit First Bridge Park... A historic area marking the first bridge on the Mississipi river. Here we also capture images on the famous Grain Belt Beer sign... a Minneapolis landmark.
The Plaza of the Federal Reserve Bank. - Many interesting historically significant exhibits.
The Gateway - Here we photograph the famous Gateway fountain. Many great Minneapolis skyline shots are available here also.
The Third Avenue Bridge - A historically significant landmark bridge.
Water Power Park - This session wraps up in this park near old St Anthony Main. Some of the best views of St Anthony falls and the Horseshoe dam await us here.

Pricing for this Safari is $69.00 (not including tax and gratuity) per person with discounts for multiple bookings. The tour includes a printed "Basic Digital Photography Tips and Techniques" booklet filled with handy hints and tips that will help you improve the way you visualize your world and apply it to your photography.
This Safari is Seasonal, running April 1 through October 31.
